Clash Of The Titans 2010
Clash of the titans (2010) is directed by a french director named Louis Leterrier. On the poster above it says that the release date is March 26th, but the date was changed to April 2nd because they decided to make a 3D version of the movie, which isn't a bad idea at all. Sam Worthington (Avatar) stars as Perseus, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Alexa Davalos (Chronicles of Riddick) as Andromeda, and many more.
Perseus is a demigod, a half-blood hero of Greek mythology, son of Zeus raised by human beings. In the picture above, you can see him with the Stygian witches. Zeus is the king, the leader of all gods, therefore the most powerful. This immense power is what Hades, the god of the underworld is after, and he's willing to unleash all kinds of creatures from hell on the surface of the earth in order to reach his goal. Perseus' mission in this fantasy-adventure movie is to keep Hades from realizing his evil plans. Along his path, he will have to face monsters, demons, and all kinds of traps that will be set to stop him.
The most famous of these monsters are Medusa and the famous Kraken, which I'm sure you heard of even if you didn't know the story because of Zeus' famous phrase: "RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!" in the trailers of the 2010 movie. The Kraken has always been one of the most famous monsters of the most famous monsters of the movie. Unlike the big scary one you've seen in the trailer, in the first version of the movie, it looked like a giant gorilla with four arms:
The lack of realistic special effects is probably the reason why they decided to release a remake of the 1981 version. Some people thought it was a very good idea, while some got very angry. But at the end of the day, the clash of the titans seems to be a very popular movie so far. At the end of the movie, Andromeda will be held prisoner, and Perseus will have to get past the gigantic Kraken to save the princess in distress.
